This is slightly inaccurate.  Executives have a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders, which may or may not mean trying to squeeze all the dollars out.

That being said, state and municipal governments need to do a better job of not only being judicious with the incentives and auditing to make sure that the incentives are either still merited, or to determine what lessons they should learn.  After all, elected officials have a responsibility to the citizens, and that needs to be part of the equation

I don't know how many times i must repeat that there are milions of whites in this country today who do not suscribe to the type of racism ivanm, nra, and most at NOPC have. I'm sorry to have to say this Lucy, because you are a decent soul, but white people just need to buck up and brace themselves for a hard discussion full of anger about racism and how to erase it. Why should he want to end it? Then he would have to find something else to bitch about. People like him make it hard for the good blacks to  have white friends and to enjoy the confidence of the whites.
I have talked about my Negro neighbor and his brother, who has operated a truck line for years.  They are good people and are nothing like IM2.  Fred and Harvey are both real neat guys to be with. I look out for Harvey, who is my neighbor, and when I don't see him coming and going I wonder if he is ok.
 
But I guess that is being racist.
