that IS a good question.  LOLOL    No wonder they want to impeach him....this president has the opportunity to make some vast changes that will affect democrats for years.....and no wonder they're foaming at the mouth looney tunes.

That's probably a big part of it -- but if they impeach Trump -- they get Pence, and no doubt he'd opt for a very conservative replacement for Ginsberg.

But the thing is -- they don't have anything to impeach him on. The Mueller report cleared him of any criminal collusion, and while he may have obstructed -- 1) He obstructed a witch hunt. 2) He didn't obstruct to nearly the level the former president obstructed to keep Eric Holder off the hot seat.

The dems are making a lot of noise -- what's new?  But, they're still playing with smoke and mirrors and, as Chomsky recently said, they're going to lose any chance they have at the election if they don't change paths.

It's been interesting watching them self-destruct, but, good gawd, what are they thinking?

Alright, You make the claim there is "plenty in the Muller report to justify an impeachment". I'm not asking for a recap. I've read the report. If there is "plenty" "to justify impeachment", name two. Not an entire recap, Just two things that justify impeachment.

Trump asked the director of the FBI to drop the investigation into Flynn.

Trump asked Dan Coats to intervene with Comey and stop the investigation.

Trump asked NSA Director Michael Rogers if he could do anything to refute the stories linking Trump to Russia.

Trump fired Comey, without giving him an opportunity to resign, banned him from the FBI building, and publicly criticized him to discredit him.  He followed the termination with statements that were highly critical of the investigation.

Trump said he wanted an AG who would "protect" him.

Trump constantly tried to discredit the Special Counsel, saying he had conflicts of interest, and tried to undermine the investigation as a witch hunt.  He tried to have Mueller removed.  He even said that the appointment of a special counsel was unconstitutional.

Two days after trying to get McGahn to order Rosenstein to terminate Mueller, he tried to get Sessions, Lewandowski, and senior White House official Rick Dearborn to attack the investigation.  All either refused or simply drug their feet.  Mueller says that "the manner in which the President acted provides additional evidence of his intent".

Trump repeatedly took active steps to coordinate with his aids to hide the truth of the Trump Tower meeting, and rejected Trump Jr.'s first draft statement about the meeting that would have acknowledged that the meeting was with "an individual who I was told might have information helpful to the campaign".

Trump repeatedly tried to get Sessions to un-recuse himself and take control of the investigation.

Trump's lawyer reached out to Flynn's lawyer and asked for a "heads up" of any information implicating the President".  When he was told that any such information could not be shared, he said he would relay the message of "hostility" to the President.

While preparing for his Congressional testimony, he had extensive discussions with Trump's personal lawyers who said Cohen should stay on message and not contradict the President.

In addition, he has not yet done anything to support getting to the bottom of the Russian interference in our elections or taken any steps to combat it.  He has constantly attacked the institutions and the norms that support our democracy, such as the free press.  He constantly, demonstrably, outright lies to the American people such that he has zero credibility, nor does his press secretary.  And then there is all of the lying that occurred by Trump and people around him regarding contact with the Russians.

Trump himself certainly thought he was fucked when a special counsel was appointed.

A sitting President can only be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors" and when I perused the report I found none. That's why I asked you to list the ones you thought fit that criteria, but, to date, you have deflected.

We have strict rules on impeachment -- so I'd really like to know what you feel (in the report) rises to an impeachable offense.

Please share your thoughts.

You apparently don't know very much about the process and requirements for impeachment.

There's nothing. That's why SC is side stepping instead of showing the proof. The Libby haters just want to make you think there is something. Or maybe, like the "Russian Collusion", they just are still hoping there is something. They just keep on beating on that poor dead horse.

If President Trump had done anything, even the tiniest of an impeachable offense, he would not still be in the Whitehouse.  They know that as well as we do.

That is really stupid.  And Federalist, of course, liked it.

How is what I said, really stupid??

None of you haters can produce any impeachable offenses, not even one!! And you have the gall to say we’re stupid??

I literally just listed many of the offenses.

Why is it stupid?  Well, to begin with, Clinton was impeached and did he leave the White House?  Further, impeachable offenses (whatever that really means) are typically uncovered only by extensive investigation.

spacey.
Of the "supposed" impeachable offenses you listed,
How many actually obstructed Mueller’s investigation?
Let me help you.
none.
no action was taken by Trump’s associates, therefore ,
no obstruction at all took place.

Trump did not evoke executive privilege.
Allowed Mueller to interview any member of
his administration.
Voluntarily turned over 1.4 million documents.
Trump’s lawyers were interviewed over 30 hours.
Trump answered written question from Mueller.

Trump did not destroy 30,000 e-mails.
Did not destroy  blackberrys with hammers
Trumps associates did not receive immunity.

Now this is real obstruction, spacey:

Three key witnesses to Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server were given immunity from prosecution in exchange for their cooperation with the FBI’s investigation this
included a side arrangement obliging the FBI to destroy their laptops after reviewing the devices.

Obama administration's Justice Department advised the FBI not to pursue the gross negligence statute for Hillary Clinton's mishandling of classified information.

Obstruction doesn't have to be successful to be a crime.  And whether or not a chargeable crime occurred doesn't matter with regard to fitness for office and impeachment.  He has, from day 1, demonstrated his unfitness for the office he holds.  Ideally he would be impeached, but lacking that, he should certainly not be re-elected.

Where??

Clinton was not impeached by both the House and Senate. Only the House voted to impeach.

If you don’t know what impeachable offenses are how did you “just list” them?? Also, you don’t think that an almost two year investigation wasn’t extensive?  And at a cost to taxpayers of over $30,000,000?? Seriously??
