Who needs a ladder?
« on: January 10, 2019, 09:11:44 AM »
Test of the steel prototype for the border wall showed it could be sawed through

The Trump administration directed the construction of eight steel and concrete prototype walls that were built in Otay Mesa, California, just across the border from Tijuana, Mexico. Trump inspected the prototypes in March 2018. He has now settled on a steel slat, or steel bollard, design for the proposed border barrier additions. Steel bollard fencing has been used under previous administrations.

However, testing by DHS in late 2017 showed all eight prototypes, including the steel slats, were vulnerable to breaching, according to an internal February 2018 U.S. Customs and Border Protection report.

really.   Prototype.    We need a barricade at the border to stop these criminals.   BUILD THE DAMN WALL.      Now some enterprising young illegal may bring a serious piece of equipment to break through this wall...that's where our border guards' guns come in.

I WANT THIS STOPPED.

North American Indians Had an open borders policy and look what happened to them.

She is famous for sewing sheets into robes and hoods. That's the only society to which Caroline has value.

Of course it can be sawed through.  A solid concrete wall can be sawed through as well, and not every foot of barrier can be policed.  It can also be tunneled under or climbed over.

well anything can happen to anything......the fact of the matter is that the American people WANT a barricade AND extra security.  WE WANT A STRONG border.

Sure, it can be sawed through, but it takes a long time and a lot of muscle. No barrier is 100% impenetrable, but they discourage the vast majority of wannabe trespassers, which is why we find barriers virtually everywhere people are restricted from going.

I heard recently about a laser wall that would cost a fraction of the price of a solid wall, and yet, it would identify movement far away from the actual border, giving agents a good shot at intercepting illegals. That might be the way to go.

No, polls show the majority being against the wall idea.
