As demonstrated by the slowing of the rate of unemployment, the turn around of the economy, etc.  Yes, horrendous.

Really??

How about some credible proof of your claim here??

The Obama Regime wants to do away with the space program, which will literally end 7000 jobs here in FL. How would you equate that to the "slowing of the rate of unemployment"? The Obama Regime as did Bush's Regime, will claim that unemployment is slowing because many unemployed can no longer claim beneifts. They use this to blow sunshine up our skirts, while the situation remains the same or gets even worse.

Also, where do you see a "turn around of the economy"? Gasoline has jumped back up about 10 cents a gallon, food prices are higher everytime I go to the store, no one is buying any homes or cars because the banks only lend to those with an 800 credit rating or higher.

First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Then contact your congressperson and tell them to tell Bunning to STFU.

The government is broke.

I disagree. The government is not broke, the republicans don't want to work with democrats. They want all democratic measures to fail so they can regain power. They are doing everythign they can do to make this happen.
So partisans get on the internet talking about a broken government when in reality they should be demanding those in the republican party to stop what they are doing and get to the real job of providing things to help the people they were elected to serve. We the people, regardless of party, did not vote for obstruction and no ideas.

I went into a senior center yesterday for a pit stop and it is funny in a way how the older people criticize Obama and his admin.  It is practically unanimous.

You went to an all white center in Abilene where their racism is going to show you that they will support nothing a black president does. Therefore your mentioning this crowd shows just how you dwell on small numbers. I have went to senior centers and have seen almost unanimous support for Obama.

And the majority of the seniors were white. But thats because I live in civilized society, not a small racist all white haven of ignorance.

Holley I see your point about cutting back on government projects in that good jobs will be lost.  However, when
a country is running deficits the last thing we need is 7,000 people working on things we can do quite well without. One must consider the interest costs associated with borrowing money to pay those high paid workers. The interest on the debt each year must be on the order of 400 billion dollars.

Anytime money is spent on projects or purchases that do not yield a tangible benefit to earthlings then that is a burden we need to shed.  The space program has produced some benefits but can we afford the price of it?
