Is health-care available for illegal aliens?

If an illegal alien shows up at a US hospital with serious injuries, what do you propose happen?

I was asking if illegal aliens are covered in the healthcare bill, but in answer to your question, the hospital treats the injured and sends him a bill.

This is so critically important an issue...not something that should be misrepresented or misunderstood.

Then why the constant need, on your part, to do it?

Are check-ups mandatory in the healthcare bill?

In one post, you are asserting that the bill is controling in this you ask what is in the bill.  Why not look at the bill BEFORE discussing it?

Republicans are obstructing. This is a political tactic, not a failure of the Democrats, and you're buying into it.

Buying into it?  Promoting the agenda is more like it: stating that the bill is controlling on one post and then asking what's in it in the next.

Are we not looking at a rather two=tiered system after all, which allows benefits and privileges to a selected few? Why does the seating arrangement of the Titanic come to mind here? Who is allowed life-boats and who gets the jackets to be put to seas that kill within 20 minutes or so because of the icy waters? Or then again, who gets to be left in the boat as it sinks?/

We now have a multi-tiered system.  The rich are taken care of regardless of the bill.  The problems the health-care system faces are two-fold and the bill addresses both of these.

1. The rising cost of health insurance causing people to lose coverage.  Increasing the pool will stabilize that market and lower costs.

2.  it will include many of the people into the pool who are currently losing their health insurance or have no health insurance.

Some people will not be covered at the low end of the economic scale because the bill does not go far enough.  However, if it did the same people who cackle that it has gone too far would still be losing their minds.

Our health system was never intended to be overloaded with those who do not have American citizenship, for one thing.

You are right.  let's put armed guards at hospitals and when "those people" show up just shoot them.  And as a topper, let's charge the family for the bullet.

whatever/

I am asking really for confirmation that YOU know what is in it? I haven't read ALL 2500 pages of the bill, but I have read a lot of it from what has been made available to read...who knows what will actually be in the final bill?

Have YOU read it?

the bill does not cover illegal aliens, I think that point has been beaten to death myself.    But still, the situation I described will continue to happen, and as we know they cannot pay emergency room bills running into tens of thousands of dollars or more making illegal alien wages.    so who pays?

You are asking a bunch of questions, but also making a bunch of claims.  Are you now claiming to have asked the questions disingenuously?  Shame on you.

Yes, i am more than familiar with the provisions of the bill.

Quite frankly it would be a net savings if the bill covered undocumented workers.

More than quite frankly. It absolutely would be a net saving. Do we really want a system that allows more sick people be be running around spreading disease?

But they are "illegal" people.  That is the most ridiculous argument that they make.  These undocumented workers are the "perfect" citizens for the rightists: they get little if anything from our society but give so much to it.
