I was thinking more of those who have newsletters and such. One I like comes from Bill Bonner. Another from Martin Weiss.

I am cold called regularly. I usually hang up within the first 10 seconds or make a game of it if I'm not busy, I try to get them to answer as many personal questions as possible, usually about their family. It's quite amazing what a telephone con-artist will say if he thinks it will keep you on the line.

(I used to do telephones sales,  mostly charitable contributions we sold coupon books and such for RSVP and Special Olympics )
Oddly enough, I find myself doing the exact same thing.
