He wasn't going to touch Social Security nor Medicare.  It's sad, yet funny how the soon-to-be seniors here all support a guy who is working to bankrupt their primary sources of income and health care during their golden years.  They want that.  They love the idea of "making it on their own" without those programs.
But the guy could lie year after year and it wouldn't bother them.  Just like they'd vote for Roy Moore regardless of his penchant for chasing teenage girls in shopping malls.  After all, he's "pro-life."   ::)  They give Trump a pass for doing exactly or even worse what Matt Lauer and Roy Moore and Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly have done, and yes, Al Franken and John Conyers.  The difference is, Franken and Lauer had the guts to man up and admit the Truth.  Trump and Moore are gutless liars.

Xenophobia trumps all in regards to Trump's supporters.

Xenophobia trumps all in regards to Trump's supporters.

And it's so silly.  Some republican in Alabama or Florida will never be affected by a Muslim entering NYC.  It's so idiotic.   There are so many issues that the voters ignore that are more important to their well-being than a stupid Muslim ban.   Like the following.

Dear Steve,

For the past year, I've been traveling around the country on what we've called the "Hands off Medicare and Medicaid" tour. The purpose of the tour has been to rally grassroots activists to put pressure on 3 Senate Republicans to vote no, first on Trumpcare and now on the tax scam.

But what if we only needed to flip 2?

There is a special election in Alabama next week, and the polls show it as neck-and-neck between Roy Moore, the Republican, and Doug Jones, the Democrat. If elected, Jones will vote against the tax scam and fight to protect and expand Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

Social Security Works PAC is proud to endorse Doug Jones for this seat. Can you chip in to flip this seat?

I’ve traveled our nation extensively for the last 50 years and met so many people who rely on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security to sustain themselves and their families. For many of them, this election could have a literal life or death outcome.

That's because the tax scam's $1.5 trillion dollar handout to billionaires and corporations would trigger an automatic $400 billion cut to Medicare. And Sen. Marco Rubio has flat out admitted that the GOP plans to push for even deeper cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security to pay the rest of the tab.

The good news is that we can still stop this tax scam. In their rush to pass a bill through the Senate, the GOP accidentally removed some of their corporate donors' favorite tax breaks. That means they are going to have to hold another vote—and we need Doug Jones to be in the Senate for it.

Can you chip in to turn a sure-fire “yes” for the tax scam into a “no”?

Thank you for standing with us.
