ACORN 'gotcha' man arrested in attempt to tamper with Mary Landrieu's office phones

By David Hammer, The Times-Picayune
January 26, 2010, 6:23PM

Alleging a plot to tamper with phones in Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu's office in the Hale Boggs Federal Building in downtown New Orleans, the FBI arrested four people Monday, including James O'Keefe, 25, a conservative filmmaker whose undercover videos at ACORN field offices severely damaged the advocacy group's credibility.

Also arrested were Joseph Basel, Stan Dai and Robert Flanagan, all 24. Flanagan is the son of William Flanagan, who is the acting U.S. attorney for the Western District of Louisiana. All four men were charged with entering federal property under false pretenses with the intent of committing a felony.

Too good to pass up on. First off this dip-wad decieves to try to make ACORN look bad and gets caught for being a deceptive fraud. Chris Wallace and Fox News Sunday made this guy a power player of the week and praise him as a cutting edge investigative reporter back during the fake video, and 31 members of congress draw a resolution praising the clown. Now federal marshalls and the FBI bust this guy's ass for wiretapping....I'm telling ya the stoooopid is strong these days. They will continue to define themselves by their words and deeds no doubt...Pass the beer nuts....

His latest actions were deplorable and illegal and he deserves to be prosecuted for them. However, that in no way changes the fact that he busted ACORN.

Now if he were a Marxist you would be chanting a different tune.   ACORN got it in the gazoo, that is the main thing.  Like most technocrats you cannot see the forest for the trees.  You spend too much time looking at the means to see the end.

You are aware that 2 different bipartisan reports have cleared ACORN of any wrongdoing, right? And that the assclown who was busted yesterday is the same assclown who basically punk'd Acorn with the fake pimp bullshit, but you still think ACORN is bad, right? A house judicial comittee research council wouldn't know squat but fox news knows all....Solid proof means nothing to some folks. We call these folks todays Conservatives and Republicans.

So, bugging a US Senator's office is no big shakes to you?  What is your malfunction.

It gets better.  The kid whose father is acting U.S. attorney for the Western District of Louisiana is because Diaper David Vitter put a hold on his replacement.

With this being the second stupid move by assclown o'keefe (i'm sure there are others as well) to be exposed, any conservathugtard with an ounce of integrity would be best to distance themself from okeefe and his assclownery, otherwise be pegged as an assclown sympathizer. Heck, word on the streets is that even Michelle Malkin is stepping away from this one...

Oh wait....Enter a federal building under false pretense and wiretap a senator - no problem, but ACORN....Baaaaaad!

Faux news, when they reported it said the story needed context.  So here we have a kid O'Keefe promoted as a hero by Republicans in Congress and pimped the the goons at Faux -- Hannity, Back and O'Reilley silent on the Monday arrest -- teams up with the kid of a temporary U.S. attorney for the Western District of Louisiana.  The guy is a temporary US attorney because his replacement could not be seated due to the intervention of Republican Diaper David Vitter.

Amazing to see Faux throw themselves under the bus.

The video speaks for itself.

Do you deny that ACORN workers said the things depicted on the video?

The current House Judiciary Committee has no credibility.

"The current House Judiciary Committee has no credibility." Why, say you? And why should you be the end all over them?   Can you prove to me other than your "opinion" why they have no credibility. Cite instances or examples please. On one hand we have a bipartisan decision. On the other your opinion...Gee, this is a tough one....
