It is not right to find fault with the Secret Service Agent. In this particular environment, I am sure his presence could have been more discreet, but that isn't really his call to make.

The fact that Obama needs teleprompters to tak to elementary school kids is not exactly confidence inspiring.

The guy is an idiot.

If you both had read further:

Quote

This morning the President and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan paid a visit to Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia. President Obama was addressing pool reporters.

Thank for that link Boffo.

I think I will be using this site often as a link because it shows politicians actually speaking instead of all this he said she said. Cool

MSP

To be honest, i thought about but did not suggest that perhaps the classroom had a couple of open seats, but that would have been mean.

The guy commandeered an elementary school classroom to hold a press conference??? Must be “the education president”.

There is nothing in the article to indicate that Obama brought in the teleprompters AFTER his "discussion" with the 6th graders. Based on his poor performances in the past when he has been unable to use them, it is not unreasonable to assume he had them when he was talking to the children.

If he needed them to keep up with the Press, he certainly wouldn't be able to handle a bunch of 11 and 12 year olds.

Why would he need teleprompters to talk with a class of six-graders?
