This is an interesting ad campaign.  They got Cindy McCain to support them.

Quote

WASHINGTON -- Cindy McCain, the wife of 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, and their daughter Meghan have posed for photos endorsing pro-gay marriage forces in California.

Mrs. McCain appears with silver duct tape across her mouth and "NOH8" written on one cheek in a photo posted Wednesday to the Web site of NOH8, a gay rights group opposed to Proposition 8. The ballot measure passed by California voters in 2008 bans same-sex marriage.

So, McCain's office immediately said that they do not support non-opposite marriage.  How long after he learned of this did McCain drop his favorite thermonuclear epithet on his wife?

john mccain probably doesn't give a damn about same-sex marriage either.  just like cheney,  he is just a craven opportunist...

...and we should all be thankful that he didn't get elected; no matter what disappointments some may have about the speed of things.
