They believe in sharing.  This from msnbc.com:

Edwards admits fathering child with mistress
Former presidential candidate promises to support his 2-year-old daughter

John Edwards' attorneys say he's been providing financial support for 2-year-old Quinn for about a year, and just signed a child support agreement with Rielle Hunter. “I am Quinn’s father,” Edwards said in a written statement provided exclusively to NBC News. “I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves.”

John Edwards admits fathering Hunter’s child
Jan. 21: For the first time, the former presidential candidate is publicly admitting he is the father of a 2-year-old daughter with a campaign videographer with whom he had an affair.

...

Oh well, there is nothing sacred in a Marxist nanny state and even a wife must share with a bimbo who has hot pants for her husband.  Marxists take care of the needy.   Roll Eyes

A man must feed and clothe his seed.  I'll give Edwards credit for finally taking care of his child.

If more absent fathers would take care of their own children, there wouldn't be as many women on welfare. Lips Sealed

Ask his wife about that.  It might have been more appropriate if he kept it in his pants while away from the house. Oh well, people love the bastard sleeze bag pol like Edwards and Bill Clinton.  On second thought, if I had a wife like Hilly the Bitch I might do a little grazing myself.   Cool

I have no respect for any man that cheats on his family.

Agreed he should have kept it in his pants, but Edwards seems to be doing the right thing.

Of course this is just my opinion.  I will never understand why men refuse to support their children. Cry

ivan,  it might not be a smart idea to start trying to tar democrats over these sort of things;  not after all of the republican sex scandals of the last few years.

Two wrongs don't make a right.  Now I realize that the Dems are the saviors to be of our economy and our moral system, so why don't they practice what they preach?  Republicans aren't suppose to have any morals.  All they study is money.  Roll Eyes

The difference is that you Republicans cloak yourselves in that self proclaimed superiority over something you proclaim to be "values." Of course you get to decide what is and what isn't "values." For example, being opposed to abortion is "values" while caring about what happens to unwanted children and others is not "values." Being for "tax fairness" for rich people is "values" while caring about the 200 people who will die today because they didn't have health insurance is not "values."

Dag

To be fair, though, some of the republican scandals can't produce offspring....

But the republicans claim to be the committee on virtue and vice.

Way not to hold them responsible Malone.  What if one of them advocates premeditated murder?  What should we do then?
