Observer should not be allowed to moderate. His attitude is that he can say and do whatever but you can't do it back to him. I would rather see ivanm moderate than Observer.

Congress does not decide what is or is not Constitutionally authorized, The Constitution itself specifies what Congress may do. If the Constitution does not specifically authorize an action of Congress (Article I, Section , it is UNconstitutional.

And the constitution says that congress can act on matters it deems necessary and proper. So again you are wrong.  I've said it before and I 've shown you before. Again your literalist interpretation of the document does not serve you well.

The consitution did not authorize the president to pressure congress into givin him any athoiryt to wage war. Nor did it give the VIce Presdent any power to authorize torture, or in fact execute any adminstrative policy by himself without the authorization of the president.

Did not see you whining about how unconstitutional that was, so just shut up about the constitutionality of a law that can help people instead of torturing and killing them.

You said this:

Liberalism takes a different course when one's own money is involved.

Again we all pay taxes around here, so perhaps you need to realize this when you make such statements.

All i did was explain to Observer that he had been the one begging for the dozens and then when he couldn't bring it he got upset and threatened me again.  i just told him that i was not intimidated by him.  i am not.

As a side note, the last board i was on allowed someone like Observer to edit my posts.  i left that board and it is now in its death throes.

John, I didn't threaten you. I WARNED you.

From what I  understand took place at Headbutters, and of course, I wasn't there, it appears YOU took a little too much poetic license and got caught, and THAT is why you left.

In spite of differences, we can still be civil.

If that is how you feel, you are certainly free to refrain from responding to my posts.

Why don't you start now?

Cannon,

You might want to just cut the snark now before you have to break out the edit button between your tears.

Keep your whining off the board, John.

If you can't do it yourself, I will do it for you.
