the least popular President (aka The Copenhagen Flash) in history needs your help to finish the automatic "slam dunk" in the bluest state in the land

for the record, the Republicans have WON even if they lose just the notion that this race for Kennedy's seat is even being discussed speaks volumes to your shaky, ignorant ideology

Your need to post this drivel is far more telling than the substance of your post. We have a 2 party system. Your precious party is bound to win some time or another.

Redemption will require not only a lot more than 1 victory, but some actual government successes, and by that I don't mean successfully gutting the middle class in favor of the top 1%. The question I have for you, Boffo, is how do you expect to achieve actual government success when you don't believe in it?

Retardo Marx Jr. doesn't get it. The Republicans don't need a majority to have a powerful influence on legislation, and the Democrat scumbag leadership is cringing to see so many Democrat senators stepping down.  Just take away the 60 number from the Dems and the Pubs will have a field day making them look like the bumbling idiots they really are.

Pelosi's only redemption is that she has nice knockers but Reid is up the creek without a paddle.  How he ever got
that far beats hell out of me.  He must be somebody's useful idiot or puppet.

Most of this was caused by the policies of the last adminstration. TARP, which allowed bonuses for those billionaires was a Bush plan. Deranged racists running the senate has been par for the course for most of this nations history. The healthcare system was only good for those who could afford it. There ain't no mass murdering terrorists getting any kind of break, much less whatever break your stupid ass thinks OJ got. The foreclosures were happening before Obama and are a direct result of republican policy. The debt includes two wars not paid for by the prior adminstraiton and republican controlled congress. We had 4 dollar plus per gallon gas when Bush was in charge, terrorists blew up at least 3 major structures during republican rule and killed more than 3,00 people in one day. The unemployment/underemployment rate would have been much higher if we had done what republicans wanted to do because we would have been in a depression. We had 8 years of an empty suit playing president while the VP was actually running the show. And we won't even begin to talk about the bribery and corruption that occurred during the republican time in charge.

5 years ago things were not rocking. The comptroller general predicted this time we are in now and no republican would listen. And when republicans came to power, on this exact date and time we are in now, we were to have paid off any debt and were to record surpluses based upon the Clinton/Gore strategy.

You have selective memory Boffo, and the fortunate thing for most of this nation is that the majority does not.

Republicans had their chance and they controlled things for about 13 years. And look at the mess they made.

You see boffo, the truth is that all of this is the result of 8 years of republican policy. Obama has not been in yet one year, and the things we see now were starting to happen before he was president. The collapse occurred during Bush, and it was due to republican policy. You don't want to understand this, you want to deny and then place blame on the current adminstration when the problems they have now they did not make but inherited.

The truth is going to come out during the campaigns, and your party is not going to gain anything by the antics it is pulling and you support. All of this loud talking before the game doesn't mean shit when the game starts. So stop listening to fox news, because it is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the republican party.

Vel,

He doesn't. He foolishly thinks that what the 1 percent who gets everything by republican decree will trickle down to him.

Again, is this what I have to look forward to as I age? Does aging mean we actually get dumber? Cause there are republicans stepping down also. And the problem with democrats is they play nice, while republicans dont give a shit about nice. Because if he democrats played like republicans, we would have a single payer health care system passed because of whatever rule there is that negates the 60 vote rule. Obama would not even think about talking to republicans, no republican would be listened to on capital hill, like Bush did democrats when republicans were the majority. The congress and senate would strongarm legislation through by pressuring all in the party to agree to it, and if they did not then they will be lambasted and blacklisted like conservative republicans did to moderate republicans during their time in control.

Except the people do not want this. And when I say the people I do not mean the nutjobs and tea baggers.

The best thing democrats have going for us  is the current makeup of the republican party. Sane people do not want a majority run by conservative anti government loons, and religious nutcases. Your party is purging itself of viable candidates in order to maintain a failed ideology. If republicans gain the majority this nation as we know it is dead.

And I do agree that Nancy Pelosi has huge tits. I never liked Reid anyway, but I like him more than I did Lott or Frist.

Uh Ivanm, there has been a demographic shift going on that you seem to have missed. In about  20 years whites will be a minority group. On top of that if republicans gain the majority and finish the job of killing this country, its going to be bad for everyone.

Lets see., Obama was elected in 2008. A president gets a maximum of two 4 year terms. So then in 2016 it was going to be over for Obama regardless.

Actually, the corruption has been going on for a long time...probably since JFK was killed, or even before....and so, to blame one party or the other is really futile....

Lucy,

This nation was built upon a corrupt foundation at onset. But the problems we face right now are a direct result of current republican policy.

This is where you are wrong...The Clintons have had just as much a hand in the overall corruption as the Bushes or anyone else...Obama is still operating with the Bushes and Clintons calling certain shots...look at what is happening in Haiti, for example.

bullshit- the policy of this nation has been to not refuse life saving help to anyone for any reason.  Between medicare, medicaid and countless other circuit breaker programs, the system works for all better than any nation on earth.

listen up dumbass, in the American justice system, a defendant has the right to be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt,to subpoena, examine and dispute every single link to every single accusation and every shred of evidence.
which means that they will have the right to publicly flaunt every single covert top secret method that those protecting us from them has used, stripping our intelligence system to the core rendering it useless for the future

and WHAT IF they are acquitted? OJ was, I followed that fiasco start to finish and it was a miscarriage of justice.

Does our model of justice, the pride of the free world go at the bastards in another way? Double jeapardy ? or just turn them loose....adios abdul

the feds are good,..... ask a Gotti.  9(?) trials, 1 conviction   yippee

this atrocity, treating these scumbags like American citizen criminals giving them the OJ shot is beyond ignorance, it is treasonous

as you beat your tired little "blame Republican" drum, Im2 have you ever stopped to ask yourself "where's the change?"

and Vel
"The question I have for you, Boffo, is how do you expect to achieve actual government success when you don't believe in it?" -Vel

the only way for government to succeed is to become smaller and stay the hell out of peoples lives beyond the basics.  fat chance of that with either of the ruling party's we are stuck with but "right" is better than left
I don't suppose that you've checked the polls on the healthcare scam, people oppose it by a huge wide margin, but the "left" is bound determined to shove it down our throats......some democracy, eh

Lucy,

No I am not wrong about this nation being  built upon a corrupt foundation. And your claim about the Clintons is based upon a poltical bias, because the Clintons were never poven to have done anything truly corrupt, except for the sex with an intern, which given the consensual nature is not against the law. And its really a minor foul up that had nothing to do with me our you, and everything to do with the Clinton family only.

As for Haiti, Obama called for the assistance of Bush and Clinton.

We are here at this point due to the polices of republicans. In 2000 the economy was healthy, people had jobs, unemployent was damn near at a record low, and budget surpluses and debt reductions were predicted. Things did not go from there to this in just this last year. Glass -Steagall was over turned by a republican sponsored and created bill. Clinton signed the bill into law knowng that if he did not, republicans had enough majority to override a presidential veto. So then given this fact, we must assess the correct responsiblity to those who made this happen and it was not Bill Clinton or the democrats.

Certainly throughout American history democrats have messed up, but at this time in our history, the problems we face are due to republicans and republicans alone basically.

If things are worse 7 years from now, I will then say Obama's policies were the reason, but right now no, because that is not the case.
