Sure sure. There is a pall across the land and it's the deep and thick desire to return to the Bush administration.

 Roll Eyes

If Democrats show to the polls you lose and you lose big. Your only hope is that Democrats don't show to the polls.

Also if you were smart you would pace your rhetoric so that you peak at a time when it actually matters. Right now, in terms of how it matters, not so much.

I'm looking at polls and interestingly the trend is starting to go up with Obama now at about 50%. Again I don't think this means a whole lot.

It's going to be a big boost when the health care bill goes through. "Winning" just does that. Despite all of the noise all 60 Democrats and Independents lined up as did all 40 Pukes. The Pukes kind of sort of made that inevitable by being such dumbasses.

At the end of the day it's just better to have a "victory."

The Puke strategy is a loser, once again. Are you Pukes ever going to learn?

Vell

i think i am going to have to tentatively agree with you here.  While i have serious reservations about the bill, i do think that if the Democrats promote it as something like the Swiss system, which is a private system but heavily regulated, they may actually win the day on this issue.

With regard to 2012 and Obama, he is trending up again, buti also do not think that will matter as long as the republicans offer a return to cut throat capitalism.  When the clown car pulls up at the 2012 Republican convention, they still will not have figured out a viable candidate.

And, as usual, Run, Sarah, Run.

PACE!   PEAK!!!!

do you call reporting factual information with insightful comment PEAKING?

hopefully the guy will quit before his first term is up and save me the trouble of PEAKING.

he might, he looks like hell physically and seems to have the emotional texture of nitro glycerin

Steve Croft gave him a few jabs on 60 Minutes and the guy fell apart!  in Copenhagen, I hear they had paramedics on hand with defibrillators
the man is falling apart before our very eyes!

this guy is a street punk organizer used to a drooling audience looking for a freebie  and when the real world rips his rug, he can't handle the pressure

he should just quit for his own mental and physical health and the sake of his family.  Biden is better equipped, he's a gnarly old goat with thick skin

Vel, your last few post have me worried about YOUR mental health as well.  I'm thinking "imaginary friend"  "fingers in the vest" type of thing
I have some friends in the field, if you need a referral, just ask
johnny refused, and look where it got him

You should worry about yourself more Boffo, relying on Rasmussen for your vicarious thrills.

Do you really not understand what's going on, or do you think your spin is a real substitute for things like viable candidates, functional political organizations, and a platform that you can sell to someone, anyone, outside of the base?

Your chickens aren't hatched bud. You know what they say about counting them?

just let him go vell.  prior to the 2006 elections, he was crowing about a "permanent republican majority" even while i very clearly explained to him the obvious that "movement conservatism was on the decline and that the repubs would have to begin moderating the more intolerant segment of their base.

he kept that right up until the 2008 election where he was forced to shut up a bit but he hasn't leaned anything.

he was just waiting for what "he" perceived to be a little sunlight in order to bring out the silly stick again.

if the dems retain control in 2010 and obama gets reelected in 2012, expect a similar cooling down period from the boffster, only to be prematurely followed by another round of "teh stupid".

he seems to get his kicks this way so i say let him have it.  it's not like there's a paper trail to demonstrate how completely wrong he has been.  oh wait.......

peace

We presume that the world will still be the same in 2012 and beyond....Not sure about what is to come, but I sense there are great changes to be made.

This is not based on any irrational fear for the future. I don't fear the future, really. It might be nice to have some transparency, though, right?

On a side note, Interpol has just been given free reign to operate within the US. What does that mean exactly?

Nothing, really.

Interpol sounds powerful, but it is toothless.

All it really is is an information collection and coordination agency. It has no arrest powers.

What do you mean be "free reign"?
