BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) - A man was arrested for throwing tomatoes at Sarah Palin during her book signing on Monday at the Mall of America.

Jeremy Olson, 33, allegedly threw two tomatoes from the second balcony, however did not come close to hitting Palin.

Bloomington Police report that Bloomington Commander Mark Stehlik was struck in the face with one of the tomatoes and may face charges for assaulting a police officer. Olson was booked at the Bloomington jail. He was arrested for suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.

The only real hope "conservatives" have is if Democrats are stupid enough to follow Republicans down the path of polarization. Unfortunately I'm seeing more evidence than I would like of Democrats doing exactly that, but it's too early to tell whether radical lefties will make good on their threats.

While I understand where the radical left is coming from I don't understand the efficacy of the idea of allowing the "conservatives" to return to a position of power where they can finish the job they started, transforming our nation into a bigger version of Mexico.

Just a point of information:

The blogger on whom the Boffoon is relying for information is making a dubious comparison.  There are two problems with the blog entry.

1. It compares "favorability" to "job approval".  These are two different sets of tests and measurements.

2. It is comparing a CNN Poll (Palin) to a Gallup Poll (Obama).  If you look at the CNN Poll, Obama is not mentioned at all.

Having noted that, i fully hope Palin gets the nod from the Republicans in 2012.  How many quitter ads will be run?  How many ads will be run of Palin supporters referring to her as a quitter at the recent book signing debacle?

And what about Chuck Heath's recent comments as to Palin leaving Hawaii about a "minority type thing"?

I understand her book is selling well.  Sams' Club had a nice display on an end cap and the price of the book was around 19 dollars.  Go Sarah go.

I don' think she was ready to be president, but was Obama ready.  If she can just give the lefty socialists some grief then she will be a national heroine.
