Where did this Orwellian/Nazi sounding word come from - who made it up and why (I wonder)?

What was wrong with national defense?  domestic security?    I say Obama should, when elected  ,  get rid of this phrase and bring back domestic security.     And let's get rid of that idiotic color coded threat level - its absolutely good for nothing, and also Orwellian to me.

This may surprise you but yes I do.

It is however, hard to argue with the only government program I'm aware of that (so far) has achieved 100% of it's mission.

I hope the above isn't an example of the kind of "meaningful change" being promised by Democrats.

Should Obama get elected, its the best we can hope for, in the meaningful change dept. that is
