Look punk, given your track record on this forum, I am not losing any sleep over your opinion of me.  I happen to get along well with a number of posters here in spite of our minor differences on a few points, where you came in the door with a cob up your ass and looking for a fight.  Well you got one, so stfu.

Hey pissant, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.  I have been on this forum since right after it began and will probably be here when you finally take the hint and move on.  Go over to NOPC and see how your attitude sells if you think you are so upright and politically correct. It won't take long for those people to show you the door.

N words? Whatsa matter sonny didn't you get past 2nd grade spelling?

Ivan, JC is right.  You are a bigger bigot than anyone on this site.

I can see where a New Age relativist like you might think that is the case.

I judge the value of my opinions by  the response I get, and most of it has been supportive.  You flakes and pinkos don't count john because you are just a pile of dog shit.

New Age?  Relativist?  Do you know what these words mean?

Do you believe that there is such thing as truth and that it can be known?

Very interesting BaGua. Thank you.

(Not sure what it has to do with my question though.)

Redirected from here:

Quote
Yes, truth exists - but not everywhere and in every instance,

--Gee whiz godwulf. No sooner do you look like you’re capable of making sense then you go and disappoint me with an asinine statement like this. How could truth exist in some places and instances and not in others. Looks like you’re trying to bootleg relativism in with your answer.

Quote
in any absolute or easily discernable way;

--Absolute, yes. Who said anything about discernable? It’s obvious (to me anyway) that most truth is undiscernable – or at least it hasn’t been discerned up to this point (and in my opinion most truth will remain undiscernable).

Quote
in other words, yes, it's possible to know some truths, but not all.

--Well said. I’m glad we’re on the same page here godwulf. Ya see? This isn’t as hard as it looks.

Quote
Frequently, in life, perceiving and understanding the truth requires a greater amount of mental effort than is expended by reading a single book, and perspective does count for something, in many instances.

--Now you’re on to it!

Quote
Sorry if this plain truth diverges painfully from your adopted worldview.

--Diverges? It practically defines it!

Quote
You may now, if you like, go back to mischaracterizing other posters' opinions, and accusing them of having said or meant things they clearly didn't - it's what we've come to expect from you.

--I can’t “go back” to a place that I was never at.

Quote
Many of us have had to deal, in real life, with small children who think they know everything, so this is not exactly uncharted territory.

--Tell me about it. Just look at the infantile behavior I’ve had to put up with on this thread alone. In any case, I’m glad to see it’s finally paying off. Welcome to the world of reason godwulf. Now let’s see if anyone else is ready to take the plunge.

Belonging to a religion that can offer up no real or scientific proof of your "god's" - or his/her son's existence, and that demands you simply believe or have faith, and tries to use fear and guilt as a tactic to reign in it's "believers"-this disqualifies you to speak of the word "truth". Truth is something you know not a single goddamned thing about, and every time you wield that word around it's like swinging a dead cat and lessens it's integrity-another word you are not qualified to use.

Mornac....

Please give one example of something that you believe to be absolutely true, and one example of something that you believe to be absolutely false.

Thank you.
--Something I believe to be absolutely true: The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

--Something I believe to be absolutely false: Bill Clinton did not inhale.

Sorry everyone. For a fleeting moment it seemed as though godwulf was going to have a conversation with the adults. Alas, it was not to be. Maybe one of the others here will have found some inspiration in his failed attempt and decide to man up where he could not.

Godwulf does have conversations with adults. When-if-you grow up-you may be one of them. But so far you play your gandy dancing trolling game with people. You pretend to know about truth. You don't. What you know about is fairy tale belief that you can never offer real proof of. Science is real. Religion is a fucking fairy tale that can never be proven. And you are a major fairy tale troll.

Mornac, you lost all credibility here when you posted gay porn. Actually way before that, but that was the final straw. You don't get to post gay porn and then pretend that you are the "thoughtful" one who knows things about "truth".
