A post so nice, I'll post it twice... Grin

...and I DON'T mean the one Bammy is trying to surreptitiously impose upon America via his Czars and a compliant media.

I mean that a vast sleeping Giant has finally been stung awake and is understanding the danger it is in if it doesn't do something about it NOW.

I'm talking about a SECOND American revolution: and we all saw its awesome first manifestation last Saturday in Washington, an event that took EVERYone by surprise and shook everyone to the core.

It is NOT about Democrats and Republicans, it's not even directly about 'conservative' vs 'liberal', in the end.

It's about a huge segment of the nation that still feels itself tied to the roots of the great American experiment in democratic republicanism and limited government rising up and striking back against collectivism, statism and government repression.

We are only witnessing the beginning of this, but seriously, I don't think the liberal progressives know yet how huge and terrible a force they have wounded into resistance against them and their hidden agendas, and I don't even think a lot of conservatives themselves have yet come to grips with the depth and vastness forces that are breaking loose now.

The end of it will sweep most of the past 80 years of liberal progressivism away into the dust-bin of history, just as the Velvet Revolution swept decades of Communism away in 1989.

America is at one of the great turning points in its history, and I now see the light at the end of what seemed to be an endless dark tunnel.

You're wrong. Your ideology is in the final stages of rigor mortis.

After 3 weeks:
24} The skin, hair, and nails are so loose they can be easily pulled off the corpse
25} The skin cracks and bursts open in many places because of the pressure of Internal gases and the breakdown of the skin itself
26} Decomposition will continue until body is nothing but skeletal remains, which can take as little as a month in hot climates and two months in cold climates. The teeth are often the only thing left, years and centuries later, because tooth enamel is the strongest substance in the body. The jawbone is the densest, so that usually will also remain. So don't forget - brush regularly and floss only if you're really bored.

Sound familiar?

I'm not speaking about 'my ideology'.

I'm speaking about the 'ideology' of Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, Madison, Franklin, Jay, the Adams', Lincoln and others.

The spirits of these men walked among the Marchers on Saturday.

Beware, vell: you are not setting your face against 'conservatism'.

You are setting your face against America in its purest essence itself.

crist Lightweighter, you're truly losing it - wow!

your tea bag movement is nothing but the Palin/McCain voters being sore losers.   when it comes down to it, you're going to have to win elections to take back power - and the electoral college looks no better for the GOP than it did a year ago.    conservatives can't win the presidency with just the confederate states and Idaho.

the tea baggers are directionless, convincing no one about anything besides how wacked they are, beyond their wacky compatriots drunk with disinformation served up by FOX and talk radio.

The odds are against Bammy and the Dems.

Unemployment will hover between 8 and 12 percent throughout his first and only term: no president can survive this.

And that's assuming nothing else goes horribly wrong.

Only if you regard the Founders of your nation as 'right-wing ideologues' who need to be excised from history.

The economy in 3 years.. we shall see.  If your prediction is right then the country will be in no mood for a Sarah Palin.   Romney has economic intelligence but you and I know the GOP base will never put up a Mormon.   Jindal has already failed his introduction to the national stage.   You got no one on bench.

Wow, with insights like that gem, you should work for 'Politico'. Grin

I seem to remember a former president who made a disastrous, embarrassing debut at a Democratic Convention and subsequently went on to win his party's nomination, and two terms after that.....

Those men would not have approved of your ideology either. Nor would they have approved of the "spirits" behind the whole astroturf establishment.

Quite the contrary. The kind of corporate involvement you're availing yourself of is not a positive force.

Vell,

To be fair many of the owned slaves and that seems to be the desire of these neo-Confederates.

Velleity, Pepsi, Lucy... any of you Moderators or Admins who still have even a tiny bit of integrity.

When are you going to put a muzzle on this piece of shit? Her libeled Strom Thurmond and Joe WIlson in multiple threads by claiming that Thurmond was a "child rapist", an untrue statement, and now, he is accusing the political opposition of wanting to own slaves. He is over the top, a liar, and making you look worse than you already make yourselves look.

There is nothing dramatic about it, Pokie.

John lied about Thurmond... called him a child rapist. Now, if someone had said that to you, about you, you would be crying all over the board. I guess that since Thurmond is dead, it is okay with you if someone libels him, right?
